Curriculum Vitae

As an educator, researcher, and practitioner, I approach teaching as an act of presence, design, and care. My work in higher education has been shaped by over a decade of classroom experience, a sustained inquiry into teaching presence in flipped learning environments, and a career that bridges professional practice with academic life. I see teaching not only as the transfer of knowledge, but as the cultivation of relationships, curiosity, and adaptive learning spaces where students’ diverse ways of knowing can thrive.

At the core of my teaching is a commitment to experiential learning and inclusivity. I draw on my background in journalism, media design, and storytelling to create classrooms—whether in person, hybrid, or online—that are collaborative and future-facing. My pedagogical stance reflects a deep investment in neurodiverse perspectives and the “undivided self” of the teacher, acknowledging how identity and presence shape the learning experience.

As a experiential educator and instructional designer, I aim to design courses and learning systems that prepare students to enter complex professional landscapes with critical thinking, creative confidence, and ethical awareness. Teaching is, for me, both scholarship and practice—an improvisational, relational, and evolving craft that is responsive to the needs of students, institutions, and society.
